Sunday Islamic School – Registration for Year 2023/24  

 This year Sunday School will be in person at the mosque on 155 Ferris lane Barrie, every sunday from 10 am till 4 pm   

  • Minimum registration age will be 6 years or older
  • Registration will be done online always in July for the coming school year sept-June  
  • The parents who would registered their children through the online link will be Invited to the masjid for a meeting with teachers, paying registration fees and collecting the books 
  • Registration fee is for the whole year -$200 for the first child and $100 for next child in the family)
  • No online classes as its all in person learning 
  • Optional  Arabic studies also provided from 2-4 pm

if you have missed the registration or are new to Barrie and would like to enroll your kids in our Sunday school programs you are requested to walk in to the mosque Sundays before 10 am and speak to our Sunday school principal Br Akram Sohail or send in an email to akramsohail65@gmail.com

The Barrie Mosque Sunday School is a non-profit institution founded in 1997. The school is a volunteer initiative that runs from September to June on Sundays from 10am to 2pm for all ages from 4 years upwards during normal times .The school aims to provide children a quality Islamic education according to Quran and Sunnah.

Minimum age limit  for school registration is 4 years.  The child should turn 4 years or more before Dec 31, of the respective year is eligible for registration. The registration will be done for both new as well as returning students. The placement test will be held only for new students. The new students will be assigned appropriate level based on the result of the placement test and age. The returning students will be assigned appropriate level based on the last year performance and age.

Insha Allah this year we will be adding another level i.e level 5. Students who were in level 4 last year will move to Level 5 based on their results from lat year.
