Our dedicated Funeral Committee, along with compassionate volunteers, are here to assist you throughout the process, ensuring a smooth transition during this trying time.

To access our funeral services, simply contact us at 226-201-0624 or 705-999-7176, and our committee members will guide you through the necessary arrangements. We recommend contacting us in advance, especially in cases of expected death. For further inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office.
Funeral Services
Barrie Mosque is equipped with a fully-functional funeral preparation facility, providing ghusl (bathing) and preparation of the deceased in accordance with Canadian law. Our dedicated team of volunteers, including both brothers and sisters, is available to carry out these important rites. Additionally, we offer the option to store bodies overnight in our on-site refrigerated cooler as needed.
For burial arrangements, we offer access to the Barrie Mosque Muslim Garden at Innisvale Cemetery (7551 5th Side Rd, Innisfil, ON L9S 3S1). Please note that graves cannot be pre-purchased under any circumstances, and burials are restricted to residents of Simcoe County and north. All burial services are subject to approval by Barrie Mosque Management. To arrange details and payments, please contact the Mosque office or Imam directly.
Salatul Janaza is conducted in the mosque basement prayer hall for both men and women. We welcome individuals of all faiths to attend this prayer and pay their respects to the departed.
